Broan-NuTone QTXE110S Review: Broan Model QTXE110S 110 CFM Ultra Silent Humidity Sensing Fan, White Grille. Humidity sensing only works properly in the winter, when the background humidity is low. The rest of the year the fan turns itself on constantly, when bathroom has not been used. This happens even though the house has a central dehumidifier that keeps the background humidity below 50%. I set the sensitivity control on the fan to MIN but the problem remains. I had 3 of these fans installed when the house was built, and they all do the same thing.
